So, yesterday was man-the-Freshers-stall day. Woke up at 5am, realised I hadn't set the alarm clock, set it for 6am, then woke up again five minutes later when it went off. Damn inaccurate analogue alarm clocks - +/- 1 hour on the alarm setting is not terribly helpful ( Read more... )

Had a bit of a scare yesterday afternoon, on the way down from Dundee. I took my laptop out on the bus, for some boredom relief. Started it up, and the screen failed to turn on. Over the last few months I'd noticed that it did that occasionally - coming back from hibernation, the screen would fail to activate, but the computer itself was fine. ( Read more... )

Weird sleeping patterns abounding recently - Nate's up in Dundee and I've been playing Neverwinter Nights. This is a recipe for disaster when it comes to getting enough sleep.
